Founder
and leader of Zamar.
Marlin began playing the saxophone
at the age of 13 and has been playing professionally for 12 y
ears.
Formally educated at the Interlochen Academy of the Fine Arts, the
University of Miami, and Wayne State University, he received his
Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and is an accomplished teacher,
composer and arranger. Well
traveled throughout the US, Europe, Italy, Milan, Florence, Venice, Trento,
Levico, Llangollen, Wales, Great Britain, London, Barton, Cambridge, and
Guatemala, Marlin has played with various musical groups.
He also performed for James Earl Jones, Lily Tomlin, The Four Tops,
and Michigan’s Governor Blanchard during the Governor’s Arts Awards.
